But this is just the start.If you are to judge by the commercial, you would think that the Galaxy Gear acts as a smartwatch at all times. But it does not. If it is not connected to a compatible device it becomes less smart because it loses the capabilities displayed there so you have to have it connected to a device at all times. And smartphones are somehow made fun of, with the ad pointing out accidents that can happen with them due to several reasons, mostly size. Well for Samsung, a company that introduced the Galaxy Note, we don't think pointing this out is the best idea. But maybe the ad will have a positive impact on Galaxy Gear sales.
