"Hi Tim, Android 4.4 KIT KAT is available in October". You are probably wondering what this is. Well, this is the 'official' confirmation that Android 4.4 KitKat is going to be released in October.More specifically, a KitKat fan asked a question on the official German Facebook KitKat page, asking when will Android 4.4 be available. The answer came from the official KitKat page saying: "Hi Tim, Android 4.4 KIT KAT ist ab Oktober verfügbar", in translation "Hi Tim, Android 4.4 KIT KAT is available in October". We already posted about Android 4.4 KitKat coming in October on the 14th, together with the release of a new Nexus device. This time the Nestle team from Germany makes another confirmation of the rumors. This means we are truly expecting the newest Android version to come in one month.Together with the release of Android 4.4 we are expecting something that Google should have done from the beginning: availability for all models. Well, not all models, but at least old flagships or devices running decent specifications. We know how updates only reach the latest devices leaving old ones behind with the same old firmware. We suspect that Galaxy S2 will get it next year as well as Galaxy S3, Note 2 and other devices.Stay tuned for more news as October is looking to be a great month for Android fans. I hope Google won't let millions of users down this time and that they'll start updating devices fast.
